The first few chapters of Joshua have some of the most encouraging and uplifting series of statements to be found.
Here are a few of such verses. Claim them as your own (you must already know all the Word is yours anyway). These are great verses to declare as you start a day, so the course of it is firmly committed into God’s hands, your mind is set rightly and your faith is on boost –like your cell phone being ready charged to go in the morning...#awful analogies
Joshua 1:
#own it!
#God given AUTHORITY
Joshua 2:
Joshua 3:
#Our God works WONDERS
#His miracles just don't cease
Joshua 4:

You see, all of this concerted encouragement was needed. Moses the great man of God had just passed away. The people had gone through serious mourning for their wonderful leader and were surely feeling insecure and uncertain about their future.
But God used this episode to affirm the position of Joshua as the new leader and show the children of Israel that they could trust and respect him just as they did Moses.
It was also God stepping in –just as He always does Psalm 30:5b- to give consolation and comfort 2 Corinth 1:3 and uplift after an occurrence of stark loss and heartache, not allowing them to dwell at that same –emotional and physical- place for too long.

Stay blessed, Beloved x
